Penang Shuts Down 177 Food Premises Over Hygiene Breaches in Four-Month Crackdown

Penang's health department has temporarily shuttered 177 food establishments after finding serious hygiene lapses during inspections of 4,069 premises between January and April, with pest control issues accounting for nearly 70 per cent of violations.
