Woman Charged in RM1.7mil Illegal Tontine Scam
A 36-year-old Jitra woman is expected to be charged at the Alor Star Sessions Court over an illegal kootu or tontine scheme that resulted in approximately RM1.7 million in combined losses to multiple participants.
