China Expels Former Xinjiang Chief from Communist Party Over Corruption Charges
China has removed Ma Xingrui, a senior Communist Party official who oversaw Xinjiang from 2021 to 2025, from the party and all positions following investigations into bribery, nepotism, and abuse of power.
