Denmark Criticises Laos Over Minor Charges in Backpacker Deaths
Laos has charged a distillery owner with selling harmful food and operating an illegal business in connection with the deaths of six foreign tourists, including two Danish women, who consumed methanol-laced alcohol at a hostel in Vang Vieng in November 2024.
